pink posters

Description
Designed and composed a series of nine posters inspired by the color pink using a variety of materials for each.

Concept
The concept was to dissect a color of my choosing, pink, finding words and ideas that best represented the color conceptually, then depicting them in a series of posters.

Once I had all of the words to make up each poster, the challenge then was to depict them typographically while still maintaining their individual meanings and interpretations. 

I wanted to play with different materials for this project that had unique textures and would best represent each word. Materials including feathers, yarn, cotton dryer sheet, melted candy and sand.
