Puppet theater
Description
Designed a puppet theater consisting of four scenes and five movable characters.
Concept
I was inspired by my all-time favorite movie, The Last Unicorn, based on the book by Peter S. Beagle. I aimed to maintain the book's fairytale theme through the book packaging and the storybook page layouts for the scene descriptions. All the characters and scenes are hand-drawn by me, “inked” in Illustrator, and colored in Photoshop. The final layouts and designs were combined and printed in Adobe InDesign. Initially, I was torn between more “realistic” characters and smaller, cuter characters, but the smaller characters fit more with the theme and child audience.
